Alex Burton

Alex is seeking to stand on the shoulders of the longest serving councilmember and first African American woman. Alex believes that the future of this city is dependent upon the choices made in the next few years and his involvements put him in the right position to not only serve, but lead and ensure every resident believes that Evansville is for Everyone.

Alex believes that the entire 4th Ward is ripe for an increased level of sound and progressive policies without gentrifying the 4th Ward. He is laser focusing on business growth and/or development, housing, and access to healthy foods. Alex is seeking to be a strong voice for people, with a vision for the future that is forward thinking, inclusive, and equitable.
