Barry Tyler Jr.

Barry Tyler Jr. is running for 3rd District City Council in Hammond, Indiana. He attended Wabash College where he double majored in Speech and Political Science. Barry has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and has coached football at Hammond High School, his alma mater, for the past 13 years. He is an active board member with several organizations and a former member of the USW.

As a councilman, Barry will focus on increasing employment opportunities, recruiting and maintaining businesses that meet the daily needs of citizens and improving the overall safety and appearance of neighborhoods.
