Crista Carlino

Local Indy educator and community advocate Crista Carlino has declared her candidacy for Indianapolis City County Council District 6. As a lifelong Indianapolis resident, Carlino’s roots run deep in her community. After graduating from The University of Indianapolis with a degree in English and Psychology, she later went on to earn her Masters from Marian University, all while being active in numerous neighborhood programs. Carlino describes herself as wife and mother who prioritizes the needs of her students in the classroom and her community members in the district.

'I know I can bring a fresh set of experiences to the table that our city council so desperately needs. I think I am the liaison the Westside needs to advocate for our unique needs downtown.'
