Nicole Merlene

Nicole is a county commissioner and civic leader running for Virginia State Senate in her hometown. She has been deeply involved in leading the Northern Virginia region through massive systemic change from the incoming Amazon headquarters to tackling a lack of housing for the middle class to integrating new transportation technologies to provide greater access to opportunity. She is running against an incumbent who is a lobbyist with widespread conflicts of interest because she knows her hometown deserves a representative who works for them and not the highest bidder.
