Omar Jimenez

Omar Jimenez is a candidate for Dallas ISD Trustee in the community that he grew up in. As a life-long resident of Dallas, Texas and a product of Dallas Public Schools, Omar became a first-generation college student having earned a BA in Mass Communications from The University of Texas-Rio-Grande Valley. He is an active member of several Democratic organizations, having served as Vice-Chair of Youth for 23rd Senatorial District Tejano Democrats. His platform includes fighting against privatization of our public schools, increasing safety measures on campuses, and improving community engagement in public governance.
