D'Andrala DeDe"" Alexander

DeDe is a licensed counselor who has spent the past 4 years at the Dallas County Juvenile Department serving the most vulnerable children and families. In her time as a counselor, she has heard countless stories about the lack of investment in Dallas’ residents and the issues they face including a lack of affordable housing and difficulty accessing public transportation. DeDe believes that Dallas works best when all of its residents have the resources they need to reach their full potential. She plans to bring the voices of everyday residents to City Hall and use her expertise to address issues of homelessness and affordable housing with empathy.
