As an educator and activist, Cathy cares for her community. She teaches Writing & Rhetoric at James Madison University and understands how language influences civic engagement and civil discourse.
From her work as a founder of the grassroots organization ForHHS2 to being a member of the Sorensen Institute’s Political Leaders Program, Cathy strives to make a difference.
Her focus is on the constituents of District 26, and, as Delegate, she will allocate more state money for education, prioritize the district’s economy and infrastructure, strengthen physical and mental health systems, protect the environment, and support the agricultural industry.
