Jonathan Melton

Jonathan Melton is a family law attorney, community organizer, and nonprofit leader. He is running for Raleigh City Council, At-large because he believes Raleigh deserves leaders who are willing to listen, plan, and effect positive change.

For the past several years, Jonathan has worked to build safe, inclusive spaces for the LGBTQ community in Raleigh and throughout the country. Jonathan wants to make Raleigh more accessible, affordable, and progressive by encouraging responsible development, expanding and improving public transit options, and prioritizing affordable and diverse housing options.
