Cristina Diaz-Torres

Cristina Diaz-Torres is an educator and community leader who believes Arlington Public Schools should be the #1 district in the commonwealth for all of its students.

She started her career as a part-time preschool teacher, and then taught high school math and worked on federal education policy on Capitol Hill. Today, Cristina helps education leaders design systems that benefit students and empower educators.

Arlington Public Schools will face unprecedented hurdles in 2020-21. Cristina is ready to bring her experience as a teacher and an education policy expert to work with parents and educators to build new pathways for student success.
